About the Author

Katrina Kitchens is a day trader, author, wife, mom of four, and longtime small business owner. Before she ever became interested in trading, Katrina spent more than a decade running her own business, including an award-winning cupcake shop and bakery.

She didn't study finance or come from a Wall Street background. Her interest in the stock market started with curiosity and led to years of learning on her own. She remembers how confusing the terminology, charts, and trading tools were in the beginning and how much time she spent searching for answers to basic questions.

Katrina wrote Day Trading for Anyone to give beginners a place to start without assuming they already know the language of the stock market.
